During the October Half Term St Andrew’s took 35 young people on a 5-day trip to Hindleap Warren Adventure Centre. Members got to enjoy exciting activities such as tree climbing, archery, axe throwing, abseiling, tower climbing, overcoming muddy obstacle courses and much much more. St Andrew’s annual trip to Hindleap Warren is always a highlight of the year for the young people who attend, providing a truly unique and exceptional experience that they might have missed out on without the support of the Club.
The Hindleap Warren residential pushes young people out of their comfort zone, supporting their development and building their independence. The trip helps members learn key skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving helps to build resilience, perseverance providing a safe space to make friends and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with their peers.
This wonderful adventure was funded by last years Big Give Christmas Challenge matched giving campaign. The Club will be taking be in the challenge again this year, where for one week any donation made to the Club will be DOUBELD, all the funds raised go to next year's Hindleap residential trip. So if you would like to give more young people this wonderful experience be sure to donate to the Club between November 28th and December 5th via the big give page, any donation made will be DOUBELD.
