FIND OUT MOREIt's been an exciting season for St Andrew's football, with some great highlights and enthusiasm shown by all teams. Most notably our senior team ran rings round MPs from all parties, winning 9-1 in a special 150th Anniversary match against the Parliamentary team.
FIND OUT MOREJo Stanghon and Lesley Rider, sisters, talk with real fondness and enthusiasm about the Club that has been an important part of their families' lives for nearly 100 years. Their Uncle Alfred was born locally in 1908 and joined St Andrew’s in his teens. The family has been involved as members and volunteers ever since; including running the Junior Club, football teams, and other evening activities. They just hope it will continue that way for all their grandchildren and further generations.

FIND OUT MORESt Andrew’s Club turns 150 this year, marking a lesser-known milestone in the history of London. The Heritage Lottery Fund has awarded St Andrew’s a grant of over £74,000 to explore the history and impact of what has always been recognised as the oldest youth club in the world. This initiative, which is also looking at St Andrew's in the wider context of other early youth clubs in London, is being led by Andreas Persson who is working in the Club this year.
